The Love Of Warm Water

I just came back from Harbour City just now. Reason? I was there to watch Kenan's performance =) He's here as guest performer for Electone Festivals tomorrow. To those who's not sure who Kenan is, his full name is Kenan Loui Widjaja, from Indonesia. He was the winner of Yamaha Electone Concours and Asia Pacific Electone Festivals in 2008. He also performed with his group of friends call Young Boys in Idonesia Got Talent. It's been so long I have last seen any electone performances since I came here. It was great and nice meeting Kenan, he's such a nice guy =) Will update some videos soon~! For now, enjoy some photos of him and Stagea~ =D

It's been a while I last felt this way. The feeling of being here, the feeling of really exist, not surreal. It's weird, after so many months being right here in this land of Hong Kong, I never really felt I'm actually here. Vague, I know. Do not ask why, cause, I don't know. I went to a sharing session at Culture Club today, a few presenters shared a song that they are "all over" and their presentation should be as long as the duration of the song too. It was good, brings back some good old memories of my favorite kind of songs too, the good old days, and I do still listen to those songs even now, I guess the time in me never changed. I like the environment, really, although I'm never really belong in the crowd, but somehow I felt, I belong more to those kind of crowd. Cozy place, everyone drinking, chatting. So much to read, read so much~!

That is kinda the line that kept appearing in the book I just finished reading. This semester I admit, I read lesser, reason being I only go down to the main campus like 2 days a week and one of the day I don't even have time to have lunch break, class all day. So last week I actually pick up a lot of books and today I pick up a few books too when I went down to return my dvds and I happen to already finish reading one of the books. It's "Company" by Samuel Beckett, it's the longest prose he written apparently. Quite interesting one, as he kinda says to someone who wanted to make this into a play that we when we are born, we started to die. It only took me like an hour to read this book, but some parts touched me, as I go on, my mind...I think back in time....now I feel....oddd....calm but sad. Well, is ok, good one, try to read this book if you have a chance, short but interesting. Apparently this book is in CityU library since August 1984! It was published in 1...

It's been a while since I last blogged. It's now week 6 i think in a new semester for me in CityU and everything just got on track quite ok, last week was a horror week =P And that of today is Thursday which suppose to be my off day but I normally go for a sit in class. Well anyhow, is a relax day for me, to get some things done in the morning, and get my mind some off time too. Well, haven't been going out much for month to be exact now, had a muscle torn at my left leg joint near the groin area and made me quite unable to walk much for weeks. Got stuck out in the cold when I try to go somewhere, when I walked out, the temperature outside literally frozen my injured muscle that I'll be in so much pain and all I can do is just stay at the same spot until the pain goes away and I'll be able to walk again, and that normally takes an hour or so. LOL, never felt walking was so much of an effort before. Learnt from this now. It's getting better, just still slight pai...

I wanted to go out on my own for some adventures for a while already, but I just couldn't get my butt off this chair. So finally this morning I woke up and I tell myself I will go out! Where to? Somehow, I love to go to street markets at Hong Kong, especially those with a lot of things to look at (or buy) and cheap. Actually there's one near my area, which located at Pei Ho, Sham Shui Po (SSP), but recently I have been to SSP for so many times, for meals and dessert, so I decided to go elsewhere. I looked up on net for some other street markets available and I found Chung Yeung Street Market which is located at North Point. So off I go, MTR my way to North Point. I took the long way to escape the crowd. I decided to go to North point by Yau Tong interchange, when I reach north point, as I was walking, someone tapped on my shoulders... when I looked up, was my lecturer, Nadim! The little happiness in my room~

It's been 2 months since I arrived in Hong Kong. I would say I have already settled down. I felt I have already kind of blend in to the pace of life her or at least are quite comfortable with it. Studies are alright, but I wished I could be stronger and ignore those unnecessary stress and focus I should do. I'm trying to. Someone told me I looked like I have slowly regain my energy, regain a life. I do really hope and feel so too. I don't know how to explain how surreal it is and how grateful I am just to be in this place. Although I don't get the fresh air I used to get back in Malaysia, but I am gaining more energy. Slowly seeing more things around here too. People, places, and all sort of things. Actually 2 months is short, but why do I felt super long... Perhaps I have done a lot compare to what how I was in my routine-ish days...? I guess, and I hope so. The feel of lost in Time and Space~

It's a few weeks late, but I just got my laptop like last week and got things sorted out. So now I have some time to post up some stuffs~ My first week at School Of Creative Media (SCM), City University of Hong Kong, was an O-Week~ As in orientation week. We each are given 2 white cube box and have to do something about it. I have group up with 3 other people and come up with this, PANDA~ Hehe, it was fun setting up this small little installation art~ People are suppose to destroy the installation and rebuild it again, to bring out the message, to destroy something is easy and preserving is actually easy as well if you put a heart into it. SCM is located inside this new building call Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre or we call it CMC. This is an awesome building design by Daniel Libeskind. One of the part of outlook of CMC Inside CMC : Stairs~ The stairs structure are nicely built, from G to 3rd floor it only take a while of walking and not feeling tired at all~ Some arts relate...

Will be spenting my first mid-autumn festival away from home. My first mid-autumn day with a public holidays!
